SPECIAL MEETING: County Clerk Candidate Selection

The Carbon County, Wyoming Republican Party will hold a special meeting on JANUARY 18th, 2025 at approximately 11:00 AM (following the organizational meeting) to select three (3) qualified county clerk candidates for the vacancy that will be created from the election of the Carbon County Clerk to County Commissioner as applicable under TITLE 18 and TITLE 22.

TO BE CONSIDERED AS A NOMINEE PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

For consideration as a County Clerk Nominee by the Carbon County Republican Party Central Committee at the Saturday, January 18th, 2025 11:00 AM meeting applicants shall:

​

1. Be registered as of 1 December 2024, Sunday as a Republican on the most current Carbon County Republican Voter List as provided by the County Clerk prior to January 12th, 2025.

2. Complete the Carbon County Clerk Nominee Packet in its entirety which consists of:

   1. A letter explaining why the candidate wants to be the county clerk and why they would be the best nominee to fill that role.

   2. Carbon County Clerk Nominee Questionnaire

3. The Carbon County Clerk Nominee Packet must be returned to the Carbon County Republican Chairman no later than Sunday, January 12th, 2025 12:00 PM (noon). This may be done by email (CarbonCountyRepublicanParty@gmail.com) or as arranged with and agreed to by the Chairman as requested by the interested candidate. It is the interested candidate’s responsibility to ensure they have the packet completed and submitted for consideration by the required date and time. This is important so that proper ballots can be printed accurately in time for the selection meeting.
